Donations for a Van Raam side-by-side tandem Fun2Go
Two seventeen-year-old students have collected 1000 euros in donations for a Tandem foundation during their cycling trip on a Van Raam side-by-side tandem Fun2Go. Read more about these donations and other success stories about donations for a Van Raam side-by-side tandem Fun2Go.
Students on a side-by-side tandem receive donations
On rp-Online, a German website, we found a great summer adventure. Two students are both at an international school in North Rhine-Westphalia (a province in Germany) and in the summer they decided to make a five-day charity tour through the Benelux of 261 kilometres on a Van Raam Fun2Go side-by-side tandem. They liked the activity for charity very much, also because of the strong support of their parents. The trip went well. Finally, the students recommend such an action to anyone who loves cycling.
The Tandem foundation was very happy with the donation and was able to buy a new double rider cycle.
The students are already invited to other events of the Tandem foundation. The students are of course very happy with that. Unfortunately this was a one-off event for both of them, because they will graduate from high school next year and then start their studies.

De bolsterPart of the proceeds from the local fun fair in Meilegem (Belgium) was donated to vzw De Bolster, a center that supports adults with an intellectual disability or non-congenital brain injury. With the donation they have purchased the Fun2Go double rider cycle from Van Raam.
OnderwatershofOnderwatershof, a residential care center for the elderly in Rijswijk, has a Fun2Go side-by-side tandem available by donation. With the financial assistance from various parties, the side-by-side tandem made its first ride at the end of March 2018.
Fun2Go for adult day centreA foundation has offered a side-by-side tandem with pedal assistance to an adult day centre during their 25th anniversary. Made possible by various campaigns to raise money.
InteraktContourAn adult day centre of InteraktContour in Hattem, an institution for people with a brain injury, recently put their electric three-wheel tandem into use. Thanks to the Univé Stad en Land foundation “Stichting voor Elkaar”, InteraktContour won an amount of 5000 euros in 2017. After donations from Lionsclub Hattem, foundation Vrienden van InteraktContour and two bicycle shops from Hattem, the side-by-side tandem could be purchased.
Fun2go for Van CoothhuisThe municipality of Meierijstad has donated a side-by-side tandem to the Van Coothhuis, a house where people with dementia live. Residents, staff members, volunteers and family members watched how the City Council Member Eus Witlox hand over the bicycle to the Van Coothhuis.
Fun2go for OostervoortPeter van Zutphen was the founder of cycling with the residents of Oostervoort. Peter's last wish was that no flowers would be given at his funeral, but a donation for a new bicycle. At the end of April 2019 the side-by-side tandem was reveiled.
