vanRaam bicycles are made in the Netherlands, in Varsseveld to be precise. However, the special needs bikes are available all over the world. The bikes are sold via dealers and are not available directly at vanRaam. Icelandic dealer Mobility.is
Mobility.is run by Ozon ehf, a family business founded in 1985. Ozon ehf specializes in import, wholesale and retail. In 2019 the webshop Hjólastólar.is was founded, here were all kinds of medical aids available with an emphasis on wheelchairs and special needs bicycles. In March 2020 this name was changed to Mobility.is, because they want to put more emphasis on other aids instead of wheelchairs. This international name was chosen because Mobility.is also gets a lot of questions from people who don't speak Icelandic, like tourists.
