Cycling together with children on a tandem

Cycling together with children on a tandem

With therapeutic tandems from Van Raam you can enjoy cycling together again. Because sometimes the children can no longer ride a bicycle independently. Because of the low entrance height or the complete lack of an entrance, as well as the various options, the tandems are very well suited for this. Van Raam has two parent-child tandems where you can cycle together. The Kivo and the Kivo Plus. And a tandem where you can cycle side by side, the Fun2Go

The Kivo is a child-parent tandem for one adult sitting in the back and one child sitting in the front. This way the child has a good view of the surroundings. The rider always has a good view of the child from behind. The Kivo Plus has the same features, but this is a tricycle tandem. With both you can enjoy cycling together again. The Fun2Go 1 is a tricycle tandem on which the users sit side by side. This can also be equipped with an optional child seat on the passenger seat.  One person steers, both can pedal. Both persons have a good view and can talk to each other easily due to the adjacent seating positions.

Together on a wheelchair bike with children

Occasionally it is not (no longer) possible for children to ride a bicycle. Nevertheless, we would like to make the experience of a bicycle tour possible for everyone. That is why Van Raam has various models where children can ride a bicycle. These are the OPair wheelchair bicycle and the VeloPlus wheelchair transport bicycle. Children who are no longer able to ride a bicycle (also in a wheelchair) can be transported.  Have a look at our wheelchair bicycles.
