A detachable frame can be an useful addition at a vanRaam special needs bike. The advantage is that the bike becomes more compact and making it easier to transport. This makes it easier for you to take your Van Raam bike with you on vacation!
According to the Dutch foundation ‘Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds’ there are around 600 different muscle diseases. This includes SMA, ALS, Duchenne's disease and Pompe disease. With a muscle disease, muscles getting weak or sometimes fall out completely. The weakening or the failure of the muscles makes it increasingly difficult to move. To keep your mobility as long as possible, there are mobility aids that can be used, including special needs bicycles. Every special needs bikes from vanRaam has one: a frame number. However, the frame number on every bike is different. The frame number is an unique number, therefore the bike is becoming unique too. But what exactly is the frame number and why is this number so important?
In which country is it better to organize an international bicycle festival than in the Netherlands? In the country where there are more bicycles than people and where special cycle highways have been built for cyclists. That's why, 14, 15 and 16 June, the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF) took place in Groningen and vanRaam was of course present with its (newest) transport bikes / cargo bikes.
In the weekend of May 24th to May 26th, the International Dealer Days 2019 took place at Van Raam. In total, 19 dealers from the countries Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy, England, Scotland and Austria attended the Dealer Days and arrived at the new Van Raam factory in Varsseveld at May 24th.
