Van Raam at the International Cargo Bike Festival

In which country is it better to organize an international bicycle festival than in the Netherlands? In the country where there are more bicycles than people and where special cycle highways have been built for cyclists. That's why, 14, 15 and 16 June, the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF) took place in Groningen and Van Raam was of course present with its (newest) transport bikes / cargo bikes.
International Cargo Bike Festival Groningen 2019
During the International Cargo Bike Festival 2019, around 100 companies and organizations did show what cargo bikes / transport bikes have to offer. There was also the possibility to try most of these transport bikes on the test course.
The program of the International Cargo Bike Festival had something for everyone. For example, Friday and Saturday were more focused on professionals, but Sunday was free for anyone who loves cycling. For example, various activities were held on this day, including a Cargo Bike Parade, Slow Biking, cargo bikes testing and of course you could visit the fair and got to know the manufacturers of the cargo bikes (including Van Raam).

Cargo bikes by Van Raam
Van Raam was one of the hundred companies that has shown what transport bikes / cargo bikes have to offer during this festival. At Van Raam these are the multi-person bicycles. Think of the Fun2Go side-by-side tandem, but also the OPair and VeloPlus wheelchair bikes. Read more about the bicycles that went to the International Cargo Bike Festival in Groningen below.
In addition to the current bicycles of the Van Raam assortment, the two newest transport bicycles also has been exhibited during the International Cargo Bike Festival. These two bicycles are the GoCab*, a bicycle taxi suitable for 8 children and the Chat, a social bicycle that will involve the elderly in society again.
*The GoCab bike taxi is no longer available.
Fun2Go
The Fun2Go is a double rider cycle, a three-wheel tandem, in which the users sit beside each other. One person steers, both can pedal.
FunTrain
The FunTrain is an automatic, hydraulic braked double rider cycle trailer, which can be attached behind an existing or new Fun2Go side by side bike.
OPair
The OPair is a wheelchair bike with which you can transport a wheelchair user. A seat for the passenger is affixed to the front of the bike.
VeloPlus
The VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike is designed for transporting people, who can remain seated in their own wheelchair, by cycle.
