My wish was to be able to move myself with a bicycle, despite my handicap. This was possible thanks to Van Raam's Easy Rider seat tricycle. I already had some experience cycling on an Easy Rider tricycle (without pedal assistance), and now I have my second Easy Rider seat tricycle with pedal assistance since 29 May 2018. I think it's fantastic!

I have been using an Easy Rider tricycle with seat since November 2017. Because of my illness Multiple Sclerosis (MS)* I can unfortunately no longer ride on a regular two-wheel bike. To be able to cycle as optimally as possible, my Easy Rider tricycle has two foot fixations, a rearview mirror and leg fixation on the left side.

Since April 2018 we are in possession of a Twinny Plus three-wheel tandem with divisable frame. We bought this bike so that we are able to cycle with our son Lucas. Lucas is a mentally and physically limited teenager of 15 years old. He lives at home and visits a children's service center during the day.

I have been happy with my Easy Sport from Van Raam for 6 years now. Before that, I always cycled on a conventional two-wheel bike with coaster brake. Unfortunately, that changed eight years ago. I got more and more pain in my joints and cycling was more and more difficult. The moment of realisation came when I fell with my bike. This happened right in front of a car. The driver wasn’t happy with this and it became clear to me that cycling was no longer possible in this way.
