Van Raam
The Van Raam bike/e-bike app is a free app for the smartphone. Learn in this article how you can connect an electric Van Raam bicycle to the e-bike app, as a Van Raam bicycle owner and also as a dealer, this can be relevant for service related support tasks.

Read here step by step how you can connect a van Raam bicycle to the Van Raam e-bike app.
Step 1:
Download the app from the Apple or Google Play Store.
Step 2:
To connect your bike to the app, you must first register. Open the Van Raam e-bike app on your smartphone, and you can register with your email address and a password of your choice.
The password must meet a number of requirements,it must be;
at least 8 characters long
contain a capital letter
contain a number
contain a special character (such as an exclamation mark)
Step 3:
An email will be sent to the provided email address. Open this email and confirm the registration. You can now log in with your email address and a password of your choice.
Step 4:
After logging into the app for the first time, you must follow a few standard steps to get started quickly. Click on "Get started!". Read the notification about the new app. Then click on "Complete". Read the notification about exporting routes. You can also export the routes later via the Settings menu. For now, you can skip this step. Click "Skip".
Step 5:
If you have already connected a bike, you will see it now. You can continue or add a new bike. Click "Add new bike". Please note that the bike must be nearby (max. 20 meters) and that the electric motor must be switched on. You will then be connected to the bike and can start cycling.
The app shows the bikes that have been found. Choose the bike with your bike’s frame number. Read more about the frame number and where to find it on your bike in the article: 'The frame number on the special needs bikes from Van Raam'.
Once the bike is connected, this will be confirmed. If the connection fails, you will receive a notification. This notification will indicate the issue, for example: 'Bluetooth is turned off', or 'No bikes found'.
Manually connect with frame number
An alternative way to connect the app to the bike is by using the frame number. Click on the "Enter frame number" button. Enter the frame number and confirm by clicking "Add bike". If the bike can be linked to your account, this will be confirmed.
Which Van Raam bike can I connect to the app?
All Van Raam bikes with pedal support (e-bikes) delivered as of 2019 (with (silent) smart display) can be used with the app.
