Paula Brommer - Bike Totaal Chris Jacobs

I am Paula Brommer (47) and I live in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. I'm a mother of 2 children and work as a volunteer at Humanitas Thuisadministratie. I'm not really tall, namely 4.7 feet and I have asthma and fibromyalgia (a condition which you suffer from chronic pain in your muscles and connective tissue). Despite that, I would like to be active and not be classified as 'disabled', because you can't do much about it. In my spare time I like to cycle on my Balance low step through bike and enjoy the surroundings.

Tessel and Mieke Klinkenberg

Hi, my name is Mieke Klinkenberg and I am the mother of Tessel Klinkenberg (22), she is my youngest daughter. Because of her downsyndrome Tessel can't cycle independently. She has never learned this and never really wanted to learn. Since childhood we have been cycling on a tandem and Tessel loves that very much!

My name is Sipke de Jonge and I live in Emmen. After more than 4 years ‘fighting’ for a tricycle I finally got it done. Now I own an Easy Sport recumbent bike.

Rian from Brabant

My name is Rian (69) and I come from Brabant, the Netherlands, where I live with my husband. Because I have two muscle diseases, namely Pompe's disease and post-polio syndrome (PPS), I have little stability and no muscle strength in my arms. Because I still want to continue cycling, I decided to buy a bike that makes me feel comfortable and safe.

Erik from Utrecht - Mango Mobility Utrecht

My name is Erik, I am 58 years old and I am from Utrecht. My hobbies are cooking, playing golf, sailing and cycling. Because of balance problems, cycling on a normal bike is no longer possible. The Easy Sport recumbent tricycle is my first adapted bicycle, which I have been using since July 2019. Before that I rode one of Moof S3 and a racing bike.

Estinea

Estinea is a healthcare organisation with locations in the Achterhoek and Twente, in the Netherlands. Estinea helps people with disabilities. The head office is in Aalten and the De Hogestraat residential care facility is also located in Aalten. At this location they have been using the Van Raam side-by-side tandem Fun2Go for a few years now.
