The Norwegian Government has had an independent commission test the Easy Rider Junior in connection with the tender procedure, a multi-year tender. Van Raam's Easy Rider Junior tricycle was tested in terms of points, price, absolute quality, as well as the bicycle's customisation possibilities, the available accessories and user-friendliness. In addition to the Easy Rider by Van Raam, the small version for children was also included into the Tender as the best in the category of tricycles.

Next to the children's tricycle Easy Rider Junior, the Cortes by Huka, the Pfiff Scoobo by PFAU tec and the Trigo up by Hase were also tested. Together with the Easy Rider adult tricycle with front engine, it was placed in the tender after the Easy Rider adult tricycle with rear engine. According to the Norwegian government's Tender Commission, the Easy Rider Junior fulfils the requirements of the tender very well, as the Junior version also ensures good coverage of the target group. The very good adjustment possibilities convinced the jury. In addition to the handlebars and the handlebar position, the individualisation of the seat and backrest was very positively noticed. The Easy Rider Junior can also be equipped with the optional unique pedal support from Van Raam. This offers the best and most versatile possibilities of all competitors. Outstanding was that the engine started quickly and the Van Raam system gives good support when pedalling. Furthermore, it is unique that you can ride backwards with the motor on. In 2019, this reversed function again led to Van Raam's pedal support winning the ExtraEnergy test.
