Van Raam is Ambassador van Bergh in het Zadel for the Cancerfoundation. The main goal of the Bergh in het Zadel Foundation is to raise money for the battle against cancer. In the special anniversary edition of the Ambassador Magazine Ronald Ruesink, commercial director of Van Raam, tells more about Van Raam in an interview.

Van Raam makes special needs bikes for people who can no longer cycle on a regular bicycle. Van Raam has grown enormously in recent years. In 2014 Van Raam had 90 employees, which has now doubled. In 2019 Van Raam moved to new premises, twice the size of the old building. In the 'Achterhoek Vacature' newspaper, technical director Jan-Willem Boezel tells more about Van Raam, its employees and innovation.
Sometimes it is no longer possible to cycle on a two-wheeler, for example because of a certain disability or because you are no longer stable enough and are afraid of falling. But if you have been inside for a long time, nothing is better than going outside again and riding around in nature, especially in sunny weather. The elderly organisation KBO-PCOB dedicates an article in its magazine to cycling on adapted bikes to show what possibilities there are to keep moving when cycling on a normal bike is no longer possible.

Van Raam donated a cheque to the Kanjers voor Kanjers Foundation. The record amount of money consisted of gifts that during the opening of the new Van Raam bicycle factory have been donated to the Foundation Kanjers voor Kanjers.
Since Van Raam's relocation in January 2019, there has been a lot of media attention for the manufacturer of special needs bicycles. In November 2019, De Gelderlander (a Dutch newspaper) published a large article about Van Raam. In this article the Gelderlander talks about the sustainable building and bicycle test track, the history, Van Raam as world market leader and the prizes it has won. On Tuesday October 8th, Marjolein Boezel, Financial / HRM Director of Van Raam, was invited for the presentation of the Annual Report on the State of the SME 2019 from the Netherlands. Marjolein was present to represent Dutch entrepreneurs in a panel at the presentation of this trend report. Queen Máxima was also present at the presentation of the State of SMEs 2019.
