Joyce: "Jolein has Down's syndrome and finds it difficult to participate independently in traffic. Despite this, she does like to cycle. We recently made the switch from a tricycle to a Twinny Plus tandem e-bike. We have deliberately chosen this type because Jolein feels safer sitting on the back and does not see the traffic approaching. The pedal assistance is also a godsend in the Limburg landscape."
