You can enjoy endless fun together with your dog on the stable vanRaam Thuja. With the Thuja Dog Kit, your dog can come along comfortably in the basket at the front of the bike. 1. Let your dog get used to it calmly
Not every dog enjoys cycling straight away. First, let your dog get used to the bike, basket or bike trailer while it is stationary. Then take a short test ride in a quiet area.
2. Make sure your dog is safely secured
Always use a harness or another safe form of restraint. This prevents your dog from unexpectedly jumping out of the basket or bike trailer. Make sure your dog can still sit or lie down comfortably.
3. Take water with you
Especially on warm days, it is important to take water with you. Stop occasionally so your dog can drink and relax for a while.
4. Keep an eye on your dog
Watch carefully for signs of stress, tiredness or discomfort while you are out and about. Panting, restless movement or whining may mean that your dog needs a break.
5. Make it enjoyable together
Take your time, stop at a quiet spot along the way and reward your dog afterwards. This helps make cycling together a pleasant experience for both of you.
