Customer experience Easy Rider tricycle – Anne Boogman
Anne Boogman is 68 and lives in Neede (NL) with her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Madigan and Eowyn. In addition to receiving her state pension, she runs her own small business. She mainly works in data processing, creates dressage routines set to music for equestrian sport and continues to give many riding lessons. Since 6 June, Anne has been the proud owner of a vanRaam Easy Rider tricycle. “I’m absolutely delighted with it. I should have done this much sooner!”
Cycling with confidence again
Three years ago, Anne had a stroke. Fortunately, she recovered well, but she has found walking quite difficult ever since and experiences balance problems. As a result, she no longer felt safe riding a two-wheeled bicycle.
“I tried several times, but I was too afraid. That is why I eventually decided to buy a tricycle.”
The Easy Rider gives Anne the stability and confidence she needs to get out and about again. She is also very pleased with the electric pedal assistance. “The assistance is fantastic. The bike really meets all my expectations.”
I should have bought this tricycle much sooner.
More exercise in everyday life
Anne mainly uses her tricycle for leisure rides and grocery shopping, so she no longer has to use the car for every journey. She is not yet cycling long distances every day, but she plans to build this up gradually.
“My aim is to cycle around 40 kilometres a week, or perhaps even more.”
The bike helps her to be much more active. This is especially important to her because she finds walking difficult. “Cycling gives me more than enough daily exercise.”
Anne has not yet found any disadvantages. On the contrary, she gives her Easy Rider tricycle a score of 10 out of 10. “The Easy Rider really does meet all my expectations. I should have decided to buy a tricycle much sooner.”
Out and about with the corgis
Anne does not need any additional accessories for her bike. However, she did buy a dog trailer so that her two corgis can join her on her cycle rides.
“I’m absolutely delighted that I can take my dogs with me. They really enjoy riding in the trailer, and now I can travel much further with them.”
In places where Madigan and Eowyn can safely run off the lead, they are allowed out of the trailer. “Then they happily gallop alongside the tricycle.” This allows Anne and her dogs to enjoy the fresh air together and cover longer distances again.
Quick delivery and excellent service
Anne is also very satisfied with the process of testing, ordering and collecting the bike. She tried the tricycle at vanRaam in Varsseveld and collected her new Easy Rider one month later from Vossebeld Fietsen in Rekken.
“It took exactly one month from testing the bikes in Varsseveld to collecting mine. So it all went very quickly.”
Anne particularly enjoyed the test ride at vanRaam. “Everything was explained clearly and plenty of time was taken. Excellent service!”
