Van Raam Bicycles rated best in test by independent commission of the Norwegian government
An expert, independent commission in Norway has tested a number of special needs bikes in connection with a multi-year public procurement. Several aspects were important for this tender. These were rated with a specific weighting coefficient.
An number of aspects of the bikes were evaluated, including: Price, quality of the frame and the parts, quality and reliability of the motor and charger, the ability to customise the bike to suit individual needs, the bike's accessories, ease of use, reliability and overall impression. Of course the design of the bicycles was also an important factor.
Several other bikes were tested in the side-by-side tandem category, including the Orthros by Huka, Toogether by Nijland and Twister by Draisin (BRD). In terms of quality, the Van Raam's Fun2Go
was received the highest rating
by far, just like the Easy Rider sitting tricycle
. Despite the cheaper tenders offered by other suppliers, many Van Raam bikes were considered the best choice in the overall assessment (quality and price).
