Satisfied users of Van Raam adapted bicycles

The Van Raam adapted bicycles are widely used, for example in care housing complexes. With the help of these bicycles, it is possible to cycle with the residents and make it easier for them to go outside again. The moment an organisation is receiving the bicycle is almost always very special and festive. This is because it is possible to cycle (again)! In recent times, there also have been satisfied users who have received a Van Raam adapted bicycle. Read more about this in the article.

Please note, it is important to take into account the measures in place concerning the coronavirus. Some of the deliveries have taken place before the coronavirus.

Side-by-side tandem for the little Jörn

Six year old Jörn from Bobstadt (Germany), got a Fun2Go side-by-side tandem from the ‘Athletes for Charity’ foundation. They help sick and disadvantaged children. At the age of two, Jörn developed an inflammation in the brain. He stayed in the hospital for several months after which he underwent rehabilitation. Because of the damage to the brain, Jörn has a mental disability and he had to relearn a lot, such as walking and sitting. Jörn loves activities a lot, he then really flourishes, says Marco Steffan, founder of the foundation.

With the help of many associations, companies, supporters, contributors, charities and a donation from Niklas Guste, the director of the bicycle shop E-Motion in Worms, the foundation was able to buy the bicycle for Jörn. Jörn’s mother said that with the arrival of the side-by-side tandem a dream came true.
