Customer experience Easy Rider tricycle - Josef Gerhard Matsche
I have tried many bikes, but the Van Raam Easy Rider tricycle is my favourite. Thanks to this bike, I am able to cycle again despite having suffered a stroke, a failed hip operation, and a fracture in my right thigh. Read more about my experience with the Easy Rider here.
Easy Rider: Josef’s favourite bike
“My name is Josef Gerhard Matsche and I am 82 years old. After I suffered a stroke in 2010, followed by a failed hip operation and a fracture in my right thigh, I could only walk with pain. I was dependent on crutches, a walker, or a wheelchair. Since the spring of 2022, I have had my Easy Rider tricycle. With this tricycle, I am ultra-mobile and can once again enjoy travelling.
Although I have ridden many bikes before, including the pfautec Grazia, I can say that the Easy Rider is by far the best bike I have ever ridden! I bought my Easy Rider from Van Raam dealer Zweirad Würdinger Vilshofen. In terms of options, I have electric pedal assistance, a gear lever, and a stick holder. I use it every day for at least 30–40 kilometres on a cycle path (a former railway line) in the sometimes quite hilly Bavarian Forest. On this fantastic and very manoeuvrable tricycle, I can cycle without pain and am mobile again. I would like to sincerely thank Van Raam for a truly well-designed and disability-friendly bike.”
