Which suspension can I choose for my 3 wheel tricycle Easy Rider?

The Easy Rider is a 3 wheel tricycle for adults and has a suspended frame for optimal riding comfort. The Easy Rider tricycle has a standard suspension of 750 LBS, suitable for a body weight between 80 and 110 kg. But what does such a suspension do? And what if you have a different body weight? Suspension 3 wheel tricycle Easy Rider
The 3 wheel tricycle Easy Rider has a standard suspension on the rear swingarm. On bumpy or unpaved roads a bike with suspension is much more comfortable than a bike with no suspension, so it's easier to cycle over tresholds and uneven road surfaces. The suspension works like a 'shock absorber' and absorbs shocks and vibrations that you would otherwise absorb with your body.
For an optimal performance of the suspension it's important to choose the right suspension for your body weight. Van Raam offers the possibility for different suspensions on the Easy Rider, this applies to both the Easy Rider with frame size Medium (standard) and Large. Standard suspension - 750 LBS
Do you have a body weight between 80 and 110 kg? Then the standard suspension, a 750 LBS suspension, will suffice.
Lighter suspension - 550 LBS
For a body weight of less than 80 kg, we recommend a lighter suspension, the 550 LBS suspension. This will allow a person with a lower body weight to experience more suspension while cycling. A person with a higher body weight will spring too much back and forth with this suspension. The 550 LBS suspension can be ordered at a Van Raam dealer for a small additional charge. The lighter suspension looks the same as the standard suspension, but with different lettering.
Heavier suspension - 1000 LBS
Do you have a body weight between 110 and 140 kg? Then the 1000 LBS suspension is recommended. A heavier suspension is recommended for a person with a higher body weight for good suspension when cycling on the 3 wheel tricycle. People with a lower body weight will experience little suspension while riding the bike. The 1000 LBS suspension is available at Van Raam dealers for a small additional charge. The heavier suspension looks the same as the standard and the lighter suspension, but with different lettering.
Body weight over 140 kg
With a body weight above 140 kg we recommend an Easy Rider with reinforced bicycle frame. This frame is suitable for a body weight up to 180 kg.
