BFM Lille broadcast a report on a day spent trying out vanRaam adapted bikes at the specialist care home in Baisieux.
On 20 May 2026, the Papillons Blancs de Lille charity organised its third annual taster session for vanRaam adapted bikes at the Baisieux care home.
The idea is simple: to enable everyone to rediscover the joy of a bike ride, enjoy the outdoors and share a special moment with a loved one or a member of the care team. For many, it is an opportunity to get back on a bike after years away.
vanRaam designs and manufactures a range of specialist bikes for people with disabilities. Thibault Foncelle, account manager at vanRaam, was on hand to explain that the bikes are made to order, allowing them to be tailored to individual needs.
