Open house with adapted bicycles at De Bever

On June 6th, 2020, an open house was held at De Bever Verhuur. During this day, it was possible to get acquainted with Van Raam’s adapted bicycles that De Bever will receive in July 2020. These bikes are the Fun2Go duo bike, the FunTrain duo bike trailer and the Chat rickshaw bike. All these multi-person bikes could already be tested. In this way, De Bever and all the (adapted) bicycles they will have were introduced.

Because De Bever already has a VeloPlus wheelchair bike, this bike could also be admired during the open house. The bike does not yet have pedal assistance, but will soon receive the unique Van Raam pedal assistance. This pedal support will make it even easier to go cycling with a wheelchair dependent person and enjoy a cycling tour.

The day was organised in such a way that the current measures concerning the corona virus could be properly taken into account. For example, visitors had to sign up in advance and a maximum number of 30 visitors was allowed.
