User experience VeloPlus wheelchair bike - Kevin van der Plas
I'm Kevin, 14 years old and I live at home with my parents. I can't talk and I'm wheelchair dependent. I like to watch videos on YouTube on my iPad, but what I like even more is being outside and cycle around on my VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike, together with my mom and dad.
From VeloPlus2 to VeloPlus3
Kevin: "Now I have the VeloPlus3, for about 2 years. Before I had this bike, I already had the VeloPlus2. First without pedal assistance, but this was later converted. In total we've been riding the VeloPlus for about 8 years. With some music I enjoy cycling enormously. With mommy it's relaxing rides nearby and with daddy I sometimes make such long rides that the battery is almost empty."

Dad Corwin: "We like the bike very much. We can go anywhere in the open air and the wheelchair bike is easy to use. We can ride it safely on the road and we often use it to go for a ride, actually everywhere Kevin goes."
“We saw the VeloPlus3 on the Van Raam website and contacted our dealer Welzorg (now Mango Mobility). After ordering the bike, Welzorg delivered the bike at our home. We experience many adventures with the bike and we always enjoy it when we are out and about. We even take the bike with us in the back of the bus when we go on holiday. I also use the Van Raam bike app, especially for the setting of the support."
