Cycling without worries
Maria: "Although it was nice and warm in the summer and wonderful to cycle the Pieterpad, even in this cold period it is very nice to be outside. That's why my partner and I rented the OPair wheelchair bike again during the Christmas vacations. Today we took the OPair to the hospital. It's nice to have no worries for a moment when riding the bike during examinations and treatments. And wow, disconnect the wheelchair and the bike and ride into the hospital, and also meet Mary and Joseph (photo)!

Foundation 'Onbeperkt op de Fiets'
Maria Romp and Freerk de Boer started the foundation ‘Onbeperkt op de Fiets’ (red. Riding a bike without limits). They want to let everyone cycle in the northern Netherlands. They do this by the rental of adapted bicycles. To raise money for their foundation, they plan a fundraising by cycling from Haren (red. Groningen, Netherlands) to Santiago de Compostella.
