Two wheels at the front give the vanRaam Thuja an exceptional level of stability, and you notice it from the moment you get on. The innovative steering system means that stability never comes at the cost of manoeuvrability. You can weave through traffic, navigate narrow paths, and park in tight spots with the same ease and confidence.
The Thuja uses a proper saddle, not a bench seat, putting you at the same height as a standard two-wheeler. Upright, aware, and fully connected to your surroundings on every ride.

Between the two front wheels sits a practical cargo space — perfect for shopping, a helmet, or anything else you want within easy reach. Automatic lighting activates the moment you switch on the assist, so you're always visible without thinking about it. Two front wheels also make it easy to judge the width of your bike, giving extra confidence when parking or passing through a tight gap.
Every element of the Thuja bike was developed and tested with input from passionate cyclists and experienced dealers. That attention to detail was recognised at the Dynamo Retail Event 2024, where it was named Most Innovative Product of the Year.
Whisper-quiet power, whenever you need it
The vanRaam Silent System mid-drive motor sits at the heart of the frame, giving perfect weight distribution and a stable, secure feel on every ride. Quiet enough that you can hear the world around you as you go: powerful enough to handle hills, headwinds, and longer trips with ease.
The range runs from around 40km to 100km, depending on conditions and assist level. The Silent smart display shows speed, battery level, and ride information at a glance, and a start assist gives a smooth, confident push away from stationary.

Once configured, your bike is carefully assembled by hand at our factory in the Netherlands.
