Customer experience Maxi adapted tricycle – Wilma Doppenberg

Wilma suffered a brain haemorrhage that has left her unable to cycle on a standard two-wheeled bike. In this customer experience, read more about Wilma's experience with her Maxi adapted tricycle.
Cycling after a brain haemorrhage
"My name is Wilma and I am 52 years old. I live independently and my hobbies are cycling, fitness and horses. I can no longer cycle on a standard two-wheeled bike because I had a brain haemorrhage when I was fourteen. Because of this, I cycle on a Maxi adapted tricycle from Van Raam. I came to Van Raam through Meyra, a Van Raam dealer. I have had my current Maxi for a year now and got it through Thuismobiel Putten. In total, I have been using Van Raam bicycles for about 15 years!
As for options, I have a balanced pedal and a basket on the back of my bike. In addition, I have SmartGuard tyres and a one-hand-operated lock. I cycle about 40 kilometres a day on average and about 220 kilometres a week. People respect me because I cycle so much on my Maxi adapted tricycle. I give my bike a 10!"
