Customer experience Fun2Go duo bike - Andreas Puschmann
Andreas has had his Fun2Go duo bike for nine years. Read more about his experience in the following message he sent to Van Raam.
More freedom with the Fun2Go
Andreas: "I wanted to tell you that this bike was one of the best purchases we made in recent years. We bought the Fun2Go duo bike 9 years ago with the previous motor and batteries and then had it converted 5 years ago.
Since the conversion, it now has a decent range and we take it with us on every holiday, transporting it on a closed trailer. We have already been to Vienna, Kitzbühel, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bonn, cycled various routes on the Baltic and North Sea coast and have also been to the Ijsselmeer with our Fun2Go. The photo is proof of all the things we have already done with the bike.
If you tell a hotel before you book that you will bring your duo bike, for example, there is usually no problem storing your bike and trailer. On the contrary, the Fun2Go is an eye-catcher for the hotel staff and the guests."

"By using the optional wheelchair holder at the rear of the Fun2Go, the tandem is not only a fully-fledged transport vehicle for us on holiday when the weather is nice, but also here at home. That's why we sometimes drive our Fun2Go through the McDrive where normally only cars are allowed.
Once we have reached our destination, we park the Fun2Go well secured, unfold the wheelchair and then we continue on foot.
Due to the nature of my daughter's disability, we use the optional swivelling passenger seat, which makes it easier for my daughter to get on and off the bike. To keep her safe on the bike, we use the optional lap belt as well as footrests with straps."
The Fun2Go is already an eye-catcher for the hotel staff and the guests.

Since the introduction of the app, we have removed the original accessory speedometer that we had installed and use the Van Raam app on a smartphone as speedometer, odometer and trip meter. For this purpose, we have attached an appropriately stable mount to the handlebars of the Fun2Go elektro parallel tandem.
We also use the app to load the additional programmes, for example when we want to set a significantly higher power assistance level on mountain tours etc. that goes beyond the normal 3 levels that you set via the handlebar console. The fact that the smartphone is always within reach on the handlebars also makes it possible to take photos and videos, and the navigation functions of the smartphone are perfect for a tour with the Fun2Go.
