Customer experience Balance low entry bike – Van de Winkel

Mrs. Van de Winkel can no longer mount a standard two-wheeled bike due to arthritis. She has purchased the Balance low step-through bike from Van Raam and feels safe on the road again. Read more about her experience with the Balance here.
Cycling with arthritis
Mrs. Van de Winkel: “I am 64 years old and live with my husband in an apartment in Weert, the Netherlands. My hobbies include cycling, crafting, and cooking. Due to arthritis, I can no longer mount a standard two-wheeled bike, which is why I purchased the Balance low entry bike!
I have currently cycled 35 kilometres. I use the bike for exercise, shopping, and taking trips with my husband; weekends away with the Balance on the bike carrier and enjoying it! I feel safer on the road with the Balance low entry bike. It’s nice that you can remain seated at a traffic light or crossing.”

I feel safer on the road with the Balance low entry bike.
Purchasing a Balance low entry bike
“I have had my low entry bike for about four weeks now, and it suits me well! I bought my Balance at Peeters Tweewielers in Heel. They had the Balance low step-through bike in stock so I didn’t have any delivery time. The bike was even delivered to my home, how convenient can it be! The options I have on my Balance are pedal assistance with an extra battery pack and SmartGuard tyres. One downside is that, due to the arthritis in my hands, I find it difficult to handle the battery. All in all, I give my overall rating an 8!”
