EuroBike Award: Recognition for Innovation and Design
The EuroBike Award is one of the most important prizes in the field of innovative and high-quality bicycle technology and design. The jury statement about the Thuja was full of praise: "The 'Thuja' tricycle presented by Dutch manufacturer vanRaam impresses the jury with its inclusive concept on the one hand and its visual implementation on the other. The Thuja gets more people on bikes, especially those who don’t feel safe (anymore) on traditional two-wheelers but still want classic bike ergonomics. In addition to the usual upright riding position, its two front wheels offer a high degree of stability. A lockable compartment that holds the e-bike battery and an easy-to-see loading area for shopping and luggage are conveniently located between the front wheels."
