EUROBIKE Frankfurt

This year, we are present as an exhibitor at EUROBIKE for the very first time: the international trade fair for the bicycle industry. It’s a special moment for us as a specialist and global market leader in adapted bicycles. With our innovative production and focus on customisation, we demonstrate what is possible in terms of mobility and cycling freedom.

Thuja: Our Latest Innovation

At EUROBIKE, we are proud to present our latest model: the Thuja e-bike. This e-bike combines the comfort and safety of a tricycle with the familiar feel and appearance of a city bike. Thanks to its clever construction with two 20-inch front wheels and a low centre of gravity, the Thuja is both agile and exceptionally stable in corners. The design and seating position give it a recognisable and dynamic look - exactly what this target group is looking for. Even before its official launch, the Thuja was nominated for the EUROBIKE Award and has already won the Dynamo Retail Innovation Award 2024. Between 25 and 29 June, we will find out at EUROBIKE whether we have won the EUROBIKE Award.

Visit us at EUROBIKE!

We are proud to not only showcase our latest model at EUROBIKE, but also to share our vision for the future of cycling. The boundaries between rehab bikes and stylish, dynamic city bikes are becoming increasingly blurred. With the Thuja and our other models, we show that customisation, innovation, and design go hand in hand.

More about EUROBIKE

From Blacksmith to High-Tech Bicycle Manufacturer

Our roots go back to 1900, when Henk van Raam started a blacksmith’s shop in Amsterdam and specialised in making bicycle frames. Over the years, we have continued to develop and have grown into a high-tech manufacturer of adapted bicycles. Since the 1990s, we have focused entirely on designing and producing our own bikes, such as low step-through bikes, tandems, tricycles, and side-by-side tandems. Today, we supply almost all our models with our own in-house developed electric pedal assistance.

Our factory in Varsseveld, the Netherlands, is one of the most automated in the world, and we produce a large part of our components ourselves, from CNC-milled parts to 3D-printed plastic and metal components. This makes us flexible, independent, and able to continue delivering even in challenging times, such as during the coronavirus pandemic. vanRaam has a rich history, curious to learn more? Customisation and Personal Mobility

At vanRaam, we believe that everyone should be able to cycle. That’s why we don’t make standard bikes, but tailor each model entirely to the wishes and needs of the rider. Whether it’s an adapted crank, armrest, or one-handed operation: together with our dealers and specialists in Varsseveld, we ensure that every customer gets a bike that fits perfectly. At our showroom in Varsseveld, we even have a large test track where you can try out our bikes on various surfaces and slopes. Would you like to take a test ride? Make an appointment with us in the Netherlands or with a dealer near you.

Innovation and Sustainability

We continue to innovate, working together with universities of applied sciences in our own “ideas factory.” Sustainability is a top priority for us: we develop and produce almost all parts ourselves, so we maintain control over quality and reliability of supply. With over 350 employees in the Netherlands and our own factory in Poland, we work every day on the mobility of the future.
