Van Raam produces uniquely special needs bicycles and specializes in tricycles, transport bikes, scooterbikes, wheelchair bikes, tandem bikes, double rider bikes, and low step trough bikes (also known as comfortbikes). Each model is also available as an electric bike (Pedelec).

Van Raam is building a new hall next to its current premises in Varsseveld. The hall will be approximately 4500 m2 in size. Read more about the new building in the article 'Van Raam further expands in Varsseveld'. On this page you can see pictures of the realization of the new hall.
At the moment they are working hard to install 1080 solar panels on the roof of the new building in Varsseveld.

The new hall of Van Raam is now in use. Our colleagues from the service department have moved into the new building and the warehouse is also filled with bicycles, parts and machines. This week, walkways will be installed in the new building, among other things.
The moving has begun! The past few weeks have seen a lot of activity. Everyone is working hard and the new building is starting to take shape. It won't be long now until we can start using it. Are you curious about what has been happening?
Machines are being moved from the Production hall (main building) into the new building.
The racks for the warehouse have been erected.
The stairs to the upper floor have been installed.
Painting of the rooms and window frames is in full swing.
The toilet and changing room is almost finished.
The canteen is almost ready to be used.
The heat pump is connected.
The mezzanine floor for the Technical Services is being constructed.

A lot of work is being done for the new hall:
The drywall is closed, it is currently being plastered
The tiler is tiling the wet areas
The painter is wallpapering the drywall
The interior frames are in place
A trench has been made to lay all the connections from the existing building to the new building
The ditch for rainwater collection is finished
The installers are working on all building installations, data network, fire alarm installation, electrics etc
Laying of the pavement has started this week.
In addition to installing the drywall and installation work, the builders started with:
Hanging light lines
Placing windows
Brickwork for the indoor battery locker
Installing the protective tube (for cables) from the current warehouse to the new building
This week there is again plenty of work on the expansion of Van Raam. The following work is taking place among others:
Installation work (cable ducts, toilets, ventilation)
Place front window frame service office
Laying underfloor heating on the first floor
Placing of plaster walls
This week the concrete floor is poured in the new hall of van Raam.
The construction workers have started laying the floor heating and sealing the premises. All openings have been sealed with tarpaulin.
The construction of the new hall of Van Raam is progressing well. The walls are almost closed and in the left hall they started with laying the reinforcement of the concrete floor. Here will be laid the underfloor heating.
This week we started with the placing of the side walls and the electrics.Gerben Schepers sent us a nice aerial photo where in the upper right corner you can see Van Raam and the construction of the extra hall.
The past week the construction of the steel structure of the new hall of Van Raam has continued. Also, nets have been hung up to safely lay the roof panels, the laying of these has started.
The second fire resistant partition wall was installed this week. In addition, construction continued on the steel structure and a second floor was installed. The employees placed a maypole.
This week, work continued on the steel structure. The first fire resistant wall has also been placed.
The formwork for the foundation has been removed again. This week the anchors were elevated and construction of the steel structure began.
In week 22, the formwork was placed and the concrete poured for the new hall.
The work of the expansion of Van Raam in Varsseveld started in early May 2021 with earthmoving.
Van Raam has moved! From January 2019 Van Raam can be found at the Guldenweg 23 in Varsseveld. All Van Raam bicycles are produced in a new, modern factory. The new company building is 13,500 m2 and besides the production of the adaptive bicycles there is also a large showroom where you can make a test ride by appointment. Van Raam is slowly outgrowing its premises. Therefore we are building a new hall next to the existing premises in Varsseveld. Read more about the expansion of Van Raam in Varsseveld.
In January 2019 Van Raam moved into the new company building at Guldenweg 23 in Varsseveld. Meanwhile, Van Raam has continued to grow and is short of space in the current building. Therefore, Van Raam has build a new building, located directly next to the large commercial building. The building was ready in early 2022. Van Raam special needs bikes builds an extension to the production space. There will be an extra area of 1800M2 end of this year. (2012)
