Van Raam produces uniquely special needs bicycles and specializes in tricycles, transport bikes, scooterbikes, wheelchair bikes, tandem bikes, double rider bikes, and low step trough bikes (also known as comfortbikes). Each model is also available as an electric bike (Pedelec).

Van Raam
As a manufacturer of special needs bikes, we aim to offer sustainable and contemporary mobility to as many people as possible. We do this for people with disabilities, but also for people who no longer dare to ride a traditional two-wheeler because they are afraid of falling or suffer from balance problems.
About Van Raam
As a manufacturer of special needs bikes we produce tricycles, wheelchair bikes, tandems, scooter bikes, side-by-side tandems, low step through bikes for children and adults with a physical disability or people looking for more security and stability at cycling.
Our vision is: If people with a disability can be mobile and independent for a longer time, they are happier. Van Raam wants to contribute to the integration of people with disabilities in society. Let's all cycle!
New corporate video Van Raam
With around 230 employees, we work every day on the mobility and freedom of our fellow man. The special needs bikes from Van Raam are produced entirely in-house (Varsseveld) and made to measure.
In our new corporate video we take you through the sales-, design- and production department and show you the process of our special needs bikes. Van Raam has moved! From January 2019 Van Raam can be found at the Guldenweg 23 in Varsseveld. All Van Raam bicycles are produced in a new, modern factory. The new company building is 13,500 m2 and besides the production of the adaptive bicycles there is also a large showroom where you can make a test ride by appointment.
