Extended and reinforced bicycle frames for Van Raam bikes
Did you know that Van Raam can also produce the special needs bikes as a reinforced or extended version? Do you weigh more than 120 kilograms or is your height above average? Even then, Van Raam can mean something for you. Read this article about which bicycles we can produce as a reinforced or extended version.
Extended and reinforced Easy Rider tricycle
The Easy Rider tricycle for adults is characterized by its low entry. Due to the unique frame, it is possible with this bike to choose for a reinforced and / or extended version. The maximum user weight on a "standard" Easy Rider frame is 140 kilograms, but there is the possibility to strengthen the frame of the sitting tricycle to a maximum 180 kilograms.

Reinforced VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike
The VeloPlus wheelchair transport bicycle gives people in a wheelchair the opportunity to experience cycling. The person in the wheelchair can be transported in their own wheelchair on a bicycle. Because there are many different types of wheelchairs, with different weights, it is also possible to get the VeloPlus in a reinforced version.
On the current wheelchair bicycle VeloPlus, the weight of the driver can be up to 110 kilograms and the weight of the passenger (incl. Wheelchair) up to 140 kilograms. With the reinforced version of this model, the front of the bicycle is reinforced and the weight of the passenger (incl. wheelchair) can be up to 200 kilograms.

Reinforced double rider cycle Fun2Go
The Fun2Go double rider cycle is a tandem with three wheels where users sit next to each other. One person is the driver, and both can pedal. Both cyclists can weigh up to 120 kilograms on a standard Fun2Go double rider cycle. In the reinforced version of this double rider cycle, the maximum weight of both cyclists is increased up to 180 kilograms per person.

Reinforced walking aid City
The City walking aid is a walking aid for people who have difficulty walking or have problems with standing too long. Because your body weight is supported by the saddle, this bike eases the pressure on your leg joints and you can therefore cover longer distances. The standard walking aid is suitable for people with a maximum weight of 100 kilograms. If your weight exceeds 100 kilograms, there is the option to purchase a reinforced walking aid.
Van Raam's reinforced walking aid City is suitable for people up to 150 kilograms.

All special needs bikes that Van Raam makes in the factory are custom made. Because the entire production takes place in our factory, there is a lot of room to produce the bike exactly according to the wishes of the customer.
