Everyone deserves a place in the labour market. vanRaam underlines this belief by achieving Step 3 on the Social Entrepreneurship Performance Ladder (PSO). This is the highest level of the PSO and demonstrates that (in)directly, more people with a distance to the labour market are employed at vanRaam than at comparable organisations.

Social Entrepreneurship

With Step 3, vanRaam offers sustainable and high-quality employment opportunities to people in vulnerable positions. And this commitment extends beyond our own workplace. Suppliers and contractors are also actively encouraged to engage in social entrepreneurship. By consciously collaborating with sheltered workshops and other PSO-certified partners, our impact continues to grow. This creates a strong chain of inclusivity, enabling more and more people to participate.

vanRaam Takes a Leading Role

The PSO is an independent quality mark and a scientifically validated measurement tool developed by TNO. There are five performance levels: Aspirant Status, Basic Step, Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. The higher the step, the greater the social contribution. By reaching Step 3, vanRaam emphasises its leading role in social and inclusive entrepreneurship. This is an important step towards a society in which everyone can participate.

A Society Where Everyone Can Join In

In addition to creating an inclusive and social workplace, this way of working aligns seamlessly with vanRaam’s mission. We believe that everyone should be able to cycle. Cycling means freedom: the ability to decide where you want to go, to be outdoors, and to stay active. By developing different types of bicycles, we make that freedom accessible to as many people as possible. vanRaam’s social character and the mission behind our products reinforce each other and together contribute to a society in which everyone can participate.
