1. Can you introduce yourself?
'I am Mahmut Solak. I've been working at Van Raam for a little over a year and I'm a team leader of regular Assembly and Paint Shop.'
2. What makes it interesting to work at Van Raam?
'Collaboration. If you need help with something, also from the office, you get help right away. In the beginning it was difficult, because I didn't know anyone. They didn't know me either. That made the first month, two months, a little difficult. Now it's going really well, fortunately.'
‘Van Raam is a social company, you can tell that from the way they treat people.’
3. What is a common prejudice about your work?
'I walk a lot. I have to walk a lot, because the packing department also falls under me. I have to check there as well. So I walk a lot. In the beginning they thought: he walks a lot, he does nothing, but now they know what I am doing.'
4. What is your most memorable Van Raam-moment?
‘Actually, every day. I am happy to be at Van Raam. Every day I come here with a good sense of purpose. And every day is different here. We are busy, fortunately. We have enough to do, also in the future.’
5. What is your favorite Van Raam bike?
‘The Easy Rider. You just sit comfortably on it and the model is good, I think. The model of the Easy Rider 3 is good.’
