Prince Charles and Camilla tried out the Fun2Go side-by-side tandem. They did this during a visit to Northern Ireland where they visited a charity. They undertook various activities at the Superstars Café, where young people with learning difficulties receive training and can work. Besides Prince Charles and Camilla, Chloe Smith MP (Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work) and Tim Hollingsworth (Chief Executive of Sport England) in England are also getting acquainted with the Van Raam Fun2Go duo bike. They visited charity Wheels for Wellbeing in 2022 at the Herne Hill Velodrome. "It’s fantastic to see how inclusive it can be - there are cycles here for everyone”, said Chloe Smith.

During a visit in 2019 to the Fietsmaatjes foundation in Warmond, King Willem-Alexander took a ride on the Van Raam Fun2Go side-by-side tandem. He cycled together with the then 95-year-old Johan Waanders on the bicycle. Waanders regularly makes a guest bicycle tour together with a volunteer. Tour de France winner Joop Zoetemelk on the Fun2Go

Tour de France winner Joop Zoetemelk cycled in 2017 as the first volunteer of Fietsmaatjes Leiden-Leiderdorp on a Fun2Go side-by-side tandem. With this, he gave the go-ahead for the Fietsmaatjes Leiden-Leiderdorp project. At the time he said the following about the project and the Fun2Go: "It is a great initiative for people who are disabled or elder and can no longer go on the road alone. The bike is well built and looks sturdy."

BMX-racer Jelle van Gorkom on the Easy Sport recumbent trike

Silver medalist at the 2016 Olympics Jelle van Gorkom has purchased an Easy Sport tricycle. He was severely injured in 2018 after a fall with his BMX bike. During his rehabilitation he used the Easy Sport recumbent trike. He said of this, "This was definitely a sense of freedom and most importantly a step in the right direction." Edwin van der Sar visits Van Raam factory

Former goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar visits Van Raam factory

Edwin van der Sar is patron of the Edwin van der Sar Foundation. This foundation wants to help people with brain damage pick up their lives again. They do this by, among other things, donating Fun2Go side-by-side tandems to institutions that have rehabilitation, participation and prevention of brain injury as their top priorities. In 2019, Edwin and Annamarie van der Sar visited the Van Raam bicycle factory.

Former footballer Dirk Kuyt on the Fun2go side-by-side tandem bike

The Fun2Go side-by-side tandem bike was used as a 'sweeper' and taxi for the photographer and cameraman during the Run aan Zee in Katwijk. This event was organized by the Dirk Kuyt Foundation. Mayor Cornelis Visser is seated on the left side of the bike, while Dirk Kuyt is on the right. Kuyt played for football teams such as Feyenoord and Liverpool during his career.

Davy Klaassen and Lasse Schöne sign Ajax wheelchair bike

In collaboration with the Ajax Foundation and Van Raam dealer CombiComfort, Van Raam created a special Ajax wheelchair transport bike in 2016. The VeloPlus wheelchair bike was designed for an enthusiastic Ajax fan with a physical disability. The bike was made in Ajax colors with special Ajax wheel discs. To top it off, players from the first team such as Jasper Cillissen, Jairo Riedewald, Riechedly Bazoer, Davy Klaassen and Lasse Schöne put their signatures on the fenders.
