We had a fantastic cycling holiday with a 98-year-old and the OPair in Norfolk. Beautiful quiet lanes and courteous drivers.

We also used the OPair to take a friend to a medical appointment. We separated the wheelchair (because of the detachable frame) and wheeled her right in to the clinic. Then shared a picnic in a beautiful park on the way back home.

Once on the bike, she didn't have to transfer to another chair till we arrived back at the nursing home. We even used the London tube to take the bike to her (but not many stations are accessible yet so you have to plan very carefully and may need to separate the wheelchair on some lines).
