Leontine’s Balance low entry bike
“I am 84 years old and I purchased the electric Balance because of the wide and low entry. It’s so nice! Gradually, I am getting used to the bike. Especially once you get going, the bike feels wonderfully stable. I found it a bit daunting to cross a busy road, so I emailed vanRaam about it. One of the staff members helped me very well and gave me some great tips! Thanks to his advice, I can control the handlebars much better and cycling is going a lot smoother. I can now get on and off quickly and I have a relaxed sitting position.
Apart from cycling, we hardly go anywhere together anymore. Our bike rides really feel like our holiday. The euphoria prevails!”

Henk’s Easy Rider Compact tricycle
“Henk is 90 years old and he absolutely loves riding the Easy Rider Compact. He no longer experiences any pain whilst cycling. Because the display for the electric pedal support is too small for him, I always help him with it. I’ve put coloured stickers on the black buttons so he can see them better. Henk is absolutely delighted that we can cycle together again. Every day we cycle around 15 to 22 kilometres around Vorden, the Netherlands. Cycling together is now a great pleasure for both of us once more.”
