France 3 Pays de la Loire produced a report on vanRaam bikes and what they bring to people who never thought they could ride a bike again.
The France 3 Pays de la Loire teams visited our dealer Banzaï Cycles located in Nantes.
Maurice, 93, has regained his freedom and well-being in everyday life since Valentin, his grandson and co-founder of Banzaï Cycles, equipped him with an Easy Rider electric tricycle. He travels between 5 and 7 kilometres every day on his tricycle. He says with a smile: "I am happy. I have discovered something: going out, getting some fresh air, being able to walk around! It is something comforting."
His physiotherapist, Aurélie Dessables, confirms the benefits of cycling on his cardiac, respiratory and muscular systems.
Alexandre Kirion, co-founder of Banzaï Cycles, explains how vanRaam bikes can be adapted to the needs of his customers, thanks to the many options available: "We add adaptability: specific pedals, straps or other accessories, a seat, trunk support, head support. The goal is to find a solution", Alexandre explains.
