You of course want to maintain your bike as well as possible. In doing so, it is good to protect your bike from weather conditions. It is best to store your bike indoors. But when this is not possible, a bike cover is a solution. Van Raam offers bike covers for the Easy Rider tricycle and the Fun2Go side-by-side tandem.
Important! Make sure your bike is dry before placing the bike cover over the Easy Rider.
Step 1. Put your bike on the parking brake to prevent it from rolling away.
Step 2. Put the bike cover over the bike. The front can be recognised by 2 orange stripes.
Step 3. Pull the cover over the handlebars and seat at the sides. Insert any mirrors into the mirror pockets. After this, pull the front of the cover over the front wheel of the bike as well. Make sure it is pulled tight at the front.
Step 4. Continue pulling the bicycle cover over the handlebars, seat, luggage platform and lastly over the rear wheels of the bike. Make sure the bike cover is also covering the pedals.
Step 5. Fasten the storm strap under the bicycle.
Step 6. Check that the cover is tight at the top of the bike so that no water can accumulate in it.
Important! Make sure your bike is dry before placing the bike cover over the Fun2Go.
Step 1. Put the bike on the parking brake so it stays put.
Step 2. Place the full bike cover on the front of the bike and pull the front over the front wheel of the bike. The front can be recognised by the two orange stripes.
Step 3. (If applicable) Pull the cover over the mirror(s) and put them in the mirror pocket(s) provided for that purpose.
Step 4. Continue pulling the bicycle cover over the handlebars, seat, luggage platform and lastly over the rear wheels of the bike. Make sure the bike cover is also covering the pedals.
Step 5. Pull the cover, side by side, over both seats and rear wheels.
Step 6. Make sure the cover is tight at the top of the bike to prevent water from accumulating.
On the front and back of the bike covers are ventilation hatches. You open these by standing up the piece of fabric with Velcro.
There are also two orange strips on the front of the bike cover. These are openings through which an extra chain lock can be attached.
You can clean the bike cover when it has become dirty. You do this with a wet cloth and optionally mild cleaning products.
