User experience scooter bike Easy Go - Ans Telling
Ans Telling was the first owner of the scooter bike, since it first officially came on the market in early 2014. The reason that Ans uses the Easy Go mobility scooter bike is because she has had a brain tumor and a stroke afterwards. After that time, Ans is struggling and has problems with her balance. Ans no longer dared to cycle and for someone who loves cycling, that is of course a big loss. Through the bicycle repair shop, she heard at the time that a mobility scooter bicycle had been introduced by Van Raam. Ans liked the fact that you did not have to drive only a mobility scooter, but did have that option. And so one thing led to another ...
“When my husband retired, we started cycling. Together we have made countless kilometers. He passed away in November 2012. The following years I had a brain tumor and a cerebral infarction. Since then I have been struggling and my sense of balance is faltering. I didn't dare to cycle anymore. That was a huge loss.
At the bicycle repair shop I heard about the scooter bike, which was just on the market. That you don't have to drive a mobility scooter, but you do have the option, appealed to me. The bike gave me back what I missed so much. I have my freedom back again. I go to the swimming pool by myself again, I visit my granddaughter and go to the bench where I always sat with my husband. That is a ride of around 60 kilometers."

Just a message from my side. Since I own my Easy Go, I feel wonderful and independent again! I even went cycling in the rain. I regularly make long bike rides. On King's Day I even made a journey of 45 kilometers from Hoorn to Medemblik, I did an hour over the first 23 kilometers. I prefer to cycle in the 8th gear and the pedal support in position 3. In the first two months I have cycled more than 400 kilometers. Along the way I get a lot of interest from people who want to know how my bike works. Then I would like to explain it to them.
Below I briefly describe what my first week with my mobility scooter bike looked like:

April 14, 2014: Finally alone again to the pool, great !!!!!!! Again a lot of questions about my bike.
15 en 16 April 2014: Just cycle small distances and do somegrocery shopping
April 17, 2014: Run some errands again and talking with an Ergo therapist about the Easy Go, she thought the bike was great! She has even taken photos and wants to discuss it with her colleagues.
April 18, 2014: Swimming again and it started to rain, so we removed the pillow of the seat and put it in a plastic bag. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to this and the sticky edge of the chair came off. I called Van Raam and I received new strips. THANK YOU!
April 19, 2014: The week is already over. Today I made a long bike ride."
