“My name is Harry van Haaren and I live in Hengelo, Netherlands. I am 79 years old and in my free time I enjoy doing volunteer work and playing pétanque! I purchased the Balance bike low step for health reasons: I have osteoarthritis in my knees, hips, and hands. I have had my Van Raam bike since early July 2024. I use the Balance bike low step for grocery shopping and for cycling to sports activities. In the first two months, I cycled about 285 kilometres!”

“In terms of options, I have SmartGuard tyres, pedal assistance with an extra battery pack, a heightened frame, and an odometer. I also had a mirror fitted. I find the pedal assistance really great, as well as the starting aid: ideal! I do regret that I don’t have the Silent Smart display, as this would be helpful for my hands. I find the extra battery pack very useful, as I now have two batteries on my Balance. I bought the Balance bike low step at Slotboom Tweewielers; they had one in stock. I have had very pleasant contact with the dealer! I give the low step bike a 9 out of 10!”
