With the FunTrain bicycle trailer you have the possibility to travel with 2 or 4 extra people on your bike. Learn in our video and article how to attach and detach a FunTrain bicycle trailer to a Fun2Go side by side tandem.
The FunTrain is a special trailer that can be attached to the back of a Fun2Go side by side tandem to create a bicycle for 4 people. On this bicycle train of a side by side tandem and trailer, one person is responsible for steering and braking. The three passengers can pedal along but cannot steer. This gives the rider of the front of the bike 100% control of the FunTrain and the Fun2Go. The FunTrain has a safety connection that cannot disconnect as well as an automatic, hydraulic overrun brake. This gives you more safety. If you want to ride a bike with more than 2 people, you have to connect the FunTrain to your Fun2Go. Please read the spte-vy-step instructionsbelow.
Release the parking brake of the support wheel.
Lift the handle of the trailer coupler and place the trailer coupler over the towing ball.
The trailer coupler is fitted right when the indication indicated the “+” sign
Attention: Make sure that the safety cable is positioned around the towing ball.
Hook the safety cable underneath the bracket.
Fold the support wheel up. To do this, first unlock the fixing bolt by pulling it out.
Fold the support wheel up until the fixing bolt locks again with an audible click.
Enjoy riding the bike!
When you have finished your bike tour and the passengers have left the bike, you can disconnect the FunTrain from the Fun2Go. Read the following step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
Lock the parking brake on the Fun2Go.
Unlock the fixing bolt of the support wheel by pulling it out.
Then fold the support wheel down until the fixing bolt locks again with an audible click.
Undo the tear rope so that it is no longer hooked under the bracket.
Pull the lever up and then lift the ball coupling from the pulling ball. To do this, press on the latch on the lever.
Make sure that the tear rope is also pulled over the tow ball when detaching.
Tighten the parking brake of the support wheel.
