Customer experience low step through Balance - Jan de Jongh
Jan de Jongh is 70 years old and lives with his wife in the Betuwe (a region in the Netherlands). After a partial spinal cord injury and rehabilitation, he was looking for a bike that would allow him to stand with both feet on the ground when standing still. "I am 70 years old. I live together with my wife in a family house in the Betuwe (a region in the Netherlands). My hobbies are photography, reading and cycling. After having surgery on my back five times in six days, I had a partial spinal cord injury. This was caused by the fact that my blood did not clot as it should.
After my rehabilitation in the Hoogstraat Rehabilitation Clinic, I had to find a bicycle where I could stand with both feet on the ground when standing still. I searched the internet for such a bike and ended up at Van Raam."

"I have been to Van Raam for a test ride. This was very pleasant, the lady was very patient and explained everything very clearly. I ended up ordering the bike at Van Arkelen Tweewielers in Kesteren. The contact with the dealer is fine, they are very customer-oriented.
I cycle mainly for fun, depending on the weather I cycle 200 kilometers a week. For my Balance, I chose the options pedal support, SmartGuard tires and panniers. I also chose the frame color of my bike myself. Additionally, I cycle with the Van Raam E-Bike App, which I like very much.I would give the Balance low step through bike the grade 10 out of 10 I am a 100% content."
