At Van Raam we produce the Easy Go scooter bike. This is a combination of an electric tricycle and mobility scooter. In April 2018, Martijn Kruisweg and Marnix Kwant of vanRaam went to the Boston area for a week. Here they visited our dealer Bike-On in Warwick for, among other things, a presentation by an employee of Harvard University. They were also guests at Healthcare institutions in Portsmouth and they visited bicycle specialists in Boston, Warwick and Providence. vanRaam delivers adaptive bicycles in the Netherlands and Europe, but also in America. In 2018, a number of containers have been transported to the United States with vanRaam wheelchair bikes, tricycles and (side by side) tandems.
In the video below, we will show you how the vanRaam electric side by side tandem bike works. The Fun2Go 1 bicycle is a three-wheel tandem/double rider cycle with a driver and passenger sitting next to each other. This adaptive bike makes it possible to cycle for people with disabilities.
In 2016, the first two containers with vanRaam bikes were delivered to our dealers in America. At this moment, the 3rd container loaded with vanRaam bikes is ready for transport to the United States of America.
In the spirit of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Oaknoll Retirement Residence was hosting their annual Silver Games at Clear Creek Amana High School on Friday, August 12, 2016. At the Silver Games there were various specialized vanRaam trikes to ride on.
vanRaam bikes does not only provides custom bikes/special needs bikes for the Dutch market. Also, throughout Europe we have dealers who sell vanRaam bikes, as in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Recently, we also have a dealer in the United States of America (USA).
At Van Raam we are continuously working on the further development of our custom bikes including the many options and accessories. In order to continue to innovate, Van Raam's Research & Development department, with the help of students from the Innovation Hub Innovar, is always working on design, innovation and improvement. A common option, the foot fixation (and lower leg fixation), is completely renewed!
