Step 2. Book a test ride

If you’d like to try different models, visit a dealer near you or attend a demo day. You’ll find a full list of authorised dealers on the vanRaam website. It’s worth checking in advance whether the model you’d like to try is available. If you’re unsure which bike is right for you, don’t worry. Your dealer will guide you through the options and help you narrow it down.

Step 3 . Take your time during the test ride

A test ride is your opportunity to talk through your needs and preferences. Your dealer will adjust the bike to suit your body and discuss any additional options that might make cycling more comfortable or intuitive for you. There are many ways to tailor a vanRaam bike, from additional accessories to different control systems. Our aim is to ensure the bike feels right for you.

In some cases, financial support may be available through your local council or personal budget schemes. Some riders also choose to raise funds within their community.

It’s worth exploring what options are available to you locally. In the article Tips for raising money for an adapted bike, you can read all about how to finance your bike.

6. Placing your order

When you’re confident in your choice, you can place your final order with your dealer. Your bike will then be built to order by vanRaam. The dealer will keep you updated on delivery times.
