Family Groot

Mrs. Groot is 83 years old, her hobbies are reading, walking and cycling. Since a few years she has become visually impaired, together with her husband she now cycles on the 3 wheel tandem bike Twinny Plus from vanRaam. Read their experience with the Twinny Plus here.

Boers Family

Steven Boers (15) has Down's syndrome and lives in Zwolle, together with his parents and brothers. The Boers family is a very active family and they like to go out in the open air together. Since 2 years they have the Kivo child parent tandem of vanRaam and they enjoy it to the fullest. Mom Martine tells us more about Steven, their Kivo tandem and their experiences with the bike.

Debbeshoek Azora

In September 2019, residential care centre and nursing home Debbeshoek Azora in Ulft experienced the Chat rickshaw bike for a week. The reason why this handy transport bike was delivered to the residential care centre was due to a photo shoot of the Chat that had taken place a few months earlier. During this photo shoot, two older ladies who had been friends for years became true models for a day and were allowed to go out with a professional photographer and a team of Van Raam. Cintha Peters, group supervisor DOS, day care and team welfare, wrote down the experiences of the residents on behalf of Debbeshoek.
