At vanRaam, impact is not only found in the end product. You notice it most in the day-to-day collaboration on the work floor. In colleagues who think along, switch quickly and develop ideas together. In this way, we are not only building adapted bicycles, but also creating something that truly makes a difference in the lives of the people who use them.

Martin took part in the skills passport pilot at vanRaam. For him, it was a valuable opportunity to reflect on everything he has learned through practical experience. The passport shows what you are truly capable of, even without formal qualifications. Martin therefore sees it as a great opportunity for people who might otherwise be overlooked, despite having a great deal to offer.

Wilfred made the transition from hospitality to bicycle engineering at vanRaam. Through the skills passport, he gained insight into his experience and abilities, including those beyond his previous work. He now has a clearer understanding of what he can do and where he wants to continue developing.

Every bike that leaves our factory is the result of collaboration. Of skilled professionals sharing their knowledge. Of departments that know how to find each other. Of colleagues who think along when something can be done better. That is how quality is created. And that is how we make an impact, for the people who use our bikes and for one another.

Giovanni Vullo has been working at vanRaam since 2022. He started as an account manager in the United Kingdom. When he wanted to move to Italy, he stayed at vanRaam. Now he's creating partnerships with Italian dealers.

Shirley Hooijman has been working at vanRaam since 2017. As a technician, she started in assembly. Looking for new challenges, she has since become technical coordinator in Aftersales.

Niels Lettink has been working at vanRaam since 2019. He started as an intern during his bachelor’s study in Industrial Engineering and Management. Six years later, he is a master planner in the Supply Chain department.

Jolanda ten Damme works at vanRaam as a mechanic in the side-by-side bicycle line. After 22 years in a bakery, Jolanda decided at the age of 53 to follow the work-based bicycle mechanic learning program.
