Residential care centre for the elderly Careaz J.W. Andriessen has received a Van Raam VeloPlus wheelchair bike at the end of February 2021. They were able to purchase this wheelchair bike through the program 'Waardigheid en Trots' (Dignity and Pride) of the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Before a Van Raam special needs bicycle leaves the factory on its way to a customer, it is thoroughly inspected. The first inspection takes place after the bicycle has been assembled and is checked by an assembler, after that the bicycle goes through to the quality control where it is extensively inspected by a quality control technician.

Van Raam has once again donated a decent amount of money to the Kanjers voor Kanjers foundation. This beautiful donation consists of the voluntary contribution Van Raam charges for guided tours through the Van Raam factory.
